Odessa police search for woman accused of stealing cosmetics from HEB (firstalert7.com) โ€” Odessa police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman accused of stealing more than $1,200 in cosmetics from the HEB on E. 42nd Street. Investigators say she left in a white Toyota SUV and are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Y. Rincon or Odessa Crime Stoppers.

New $3.6M children's park coming to Odessa Sports Complex in honor of Amy Bell (firstalert7.com) โ€” A new eight-acre children's park called Amy's Park is coming to the Odessa Sports Complex, funded by a $3.6 million gift from the Bell family in memory of their daughter Amy. The park will feature a splash pad, playground, ranch-themed attractions, and a preserved family pecan tree, and city leaders expect it to become a regional destination for Odessa families once construction is complete.
