A 15-year old girl was caught in the crossfire, when a vehicle drove by the house and started shooting at partygoers: Police
MANVEL, TX — Police are investigating a shooting that injured a 15-year old girl Saturday night.
Investigators said the incident happened at a college house party, when a vehicle pulled up to the house, and someone inside started shooting at partygoers.
According to a KTRK report, a few of the partygoers had guns of their own and started shooting back at the vehicle, which drove off.

A 15-year old girl was caught in the crossfire and was shot in the butt.
She is recovering from surgery, police said.

Police have not said if the girl was at the party or merely an innocent bystander.
Police have identified the partygoers who had guns, and it is unknown if they will face any charges.
Meanwhile, police are searching for the vehicle and reviewing surveillance video.
