18-Wheeler Hits, Kills Wheelchair-Bound Man On I-10 Feeder
Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a tractor-trailer and a man in a wheelchair on the I-10 road.
CHANNELVIEW, TX — A man in a wheelchair was killed after police said he was hit by a tractor-trailer Monday morning.
The accident happened at about 11 a.m. on the westbound feeder road along Interstate 10 East between Dell Dale and Sheldon Roads, according to police.
Happening now: Fatality accident at 15800 blk of East Fwy feeder road. The driver of an 18-wheeler struck an adult male in a wheelchair. The male has been pronounced dead at the scene. The accident closed all westbound lanes between Dell Dale and Sheldon while police conduct their investigation.
