2 Bats Test Positive For Rabies In La Porte

LA PORTE, TX — Authorities in La Porte are asking residents to be careful after finding two bats in recent days that tested positive for rabies.
The first bat was found dead on March 8 near State Highway 146 and Fairway Drive, and the second was found two weeks later in the same area.
