Alvin Man Arrested And Charged After Weekend Sexual Assault

ALVIN, TX — An Alvin man spent his 29th birthday behind bars after he was arrested Monday and charged with beating and sexually assaulting a woman on March 3.

Alec James Sparks is being held in the Brazoria County Jail, with bail set at $550,000.

He is charged with the aggravated assault and aggravated sexual assault of an Alvin woman in her home over a two day time span, KTRK reported..

The woman’s daughter launched a GoFundMe Page to help raise money for medical expenses.

“She will need surgery on her eyes and her broken facial bones... she lost everything she had left... She's going to be on bed rest for a while and may not see so well anymore .. I'm just trying to help her ...she’s my mom I love her no matter what we've been through no one deserves something like this, this was horrible and unimaginable…,” her daughter wrote.
