Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo (myhoustonmajic.com) — Pasadena residents can gear up for the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo, running Sept. 18–26 at 7601 Red Bluff Road with nightly PRCA rodeo action, concerts, and a carnival. The schedule includes themed nights like Military and First Responders Appreciation, a livestock auction, and performances by artists such as Midland, Aaron Watson, and Braxton Keith.
2. K-9 Zara and Deputy Hickman showcase canine training to Pasadena ISD CTHS students. (pasadenian.com) — Students at Dr. Kirk Lewis Career and Technical High School in Pasadena ISD recently got a close-up look at law enforcement careers when Harris County Sheriff's Office brought K-9 Zara and Deputy Hickman to campus. Criminal justice and vet tech students watched training demonstrations, learned how working dogs are cared for and transported, and asked questions about future public service opportunities in and around Pasadena.
3. Neighbors unite for National Night Out with Pasadena Police, but don't forget to register by October 2nd. (pasadenian.com) — Pasadena neighbors are invited to host block parties for National Night Out on October 4, when Pasadena Police officers will visit gatherings across the city from 6–9 p.m. If you want an officer to stop by your Pasadena neighborhood, you must register your party online by October 2, and you can call Officer L. Robles for tips on planning a successful event.
4. Jesse Turner Joins Asalto on Stage During Performance in Pasadena (kisselpaso.com) — A surprise Tejano moment unfolded at Winters in Pasadena when Jesse Turner of Siggno jumped onstage with Grupo Asalto to sing several of Siggno's biggest hits. The pop-up performance came the night before Siggno's Houston Arena Theatre show and gave Pasadena fans an extra-close, intimate experience with one of Tejano's biggest stars while spotlighting rising West Texas group Grupo Asalto.
