2. Historic Shaw Avenue hosts Pasadena's first MuralFest with art, music, and cars. (pasadenian.com) — Pasadena residents can look forward to the first-ever MuralFest on Historic Shaw Avenue, the city's original downtown, on October 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You'll find live mural painting, Texas Markets vendors, food trucks, music, and a car show, all aimed at celebrating local creativity and community pride right in Pasadena.

The chain says it will keep operating elsewhere while restructuring, but local customers will need to shift to other branches or online ordering.
4. Pasadena Chamber and Economic Development Corporation visit local business Topsoe to bolster community ties. (pasadenian.com) — Pasadena's Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation recently visited local company Topsoe to discuss its successes, challenges, and how the city can better support its growth. The visit is part of an ongoing business retention and expansion effort aimed at strengthening jobs and investment in Pasadena.
