Dobbs, who is being held in the Galveston County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond, is also a suspect in the murders of Fritch’s mother and sister.
A statewide Amber Alert was issued on Nov. 8, after police discovered the bodies of Cynthia Morris, 37, and her daughter Breanna Pavilicek, 13, in their home in the 5400 block of Louise Street.

Both Morris and Pavilicek had been shot to death, and the family’s cream colored 2008 PT Cruiser along with Fritch were reported missing, prompting the Amber Alert.
Several hours after the bodies were found, police in Texas City arrested Dobbs in a bar and charged him with resisting arrest.
Witnesses at the time described Dobbs as being covered with sweat and barefoot when he came into the bar.
Meanwhile, a motive for Fritch’s murder is still unknown because Dobbs has refused to cooperate with investigators.
