Baytown Police Arrest 9 In Prostitution Sting

BAYTOWN, TX — A sting operation targeting prostitution activity at a local motel led to the arrest of four women and five men on Tuesday.

Police said that four women and one man allegedly offered sex to an undercover police officer in exchange for money.

Four men who were arrested were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Those who were arrested and charged include:

• Marla Rendon, 42, of Baytown, TX: Prostitution
• Jamie Peterson, 39, of Sugar Land, TX: Prostitution and felony possession of a controlled substance
• Jolee Rigmaiden, 21, of Sulpher, La: Prostitution
• Nadia Keys, 23, of League City, TX: Prostitution
• Lonie Carwell, 21, of San Antonio, TX: Prostitution.

The men who were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia were:

• Rickey Guthrie, 31, of Houston
• Geivance Garner, 27, of Houston
• Christian Randall, 24, of Houston
• Craig Haggerty, 34, of Baytown

Investigators said the four men accompanied the women who solicited the undercover officer and could face additional charges, police said.

Police are trying to determine if any of those arrested for prostitution are victims of human trafficking.
