Pavilions will host parties, outdoor movie screenings and live music events.

DEER PARK, TX -- The City of Deer Park is already getting a head start on spring with the construction of two pavilions inside the the city's largest community park.

The pavilions, which are planned for Dow Park, will be used to host community activities and events, such as outdoor movie screenings during the summer months and live musical performances.

According to a Houston Chronicle report, the pavilions will be separated by open space, with a larger one on the west side and a smaller pavilion on the east side of the park.
