Festival fun await you this weekend.

It's Easter weekend, and folks everywhere will be out and about, and you should be, too. There's a lot happening in Houston and the surrounding area that the whole family can enjoy. While church and Easter egg hunts might be on the agendas of many this weekend, there are gatherings and festivals happening all over the Houston area, starting Saturday.

Here are just a few...

Houston Area Festivals
Magnolia Depot Day - Saturday, April 15, Magnolia, Texas: This event is fun for all with barbecue, live/silent auctions, antique tractors, car show, live entertainment, rides for kids, historic museum, historic doctor's office and barber shop, circa 1901, and much more. We are adding a historical blacksmith shop to the grounds to be finished by Depot Day. This year Blacksmith Shop and Post Office added.
Brazoria County Crawfish Festival - April 15-17, Angleton, Texas: The Brazoria County Crawfish Festival takes the friendly, relaxed fun and community feel of a small town fair and serves it up big, with hot, fresh crawfish at a cheap price, along with the best of Cajun dishes and classic festival fare.
Entertainment includes the areas best Zydeco, Texas Country, and Classic Rock bands, while The Houston Blues Society brings in the blues. There are specialty acts like the wildly popular Splash Dogs, armadillo races, crawfish-eating contests, and more. A huge selection of vendors of unique wares, arts and crafts, a world-class carnival and children’s area provides plenty of activities and fun for adults and kids.
8th Annual Galveston Island Food and Wine Festival - April 17-23, Galveston, Texas:
Last years event included wines from 25 vineyards and this year the event expects to surpass those numbers.
