Food Fight Between Two Friendswood Men Results In Road Rage
Angry pedestrian starts with throwing crackers at driver, before upgrading to a baseball bat.

FRIENDSWOOD, TX -- Police are looking for a man who, in a fit of rage, attacked a driver with a box of crackers before pummeling the man’s car with a baseball bat.
The incident was reported at about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 when a when a driver passed a pedestrian while turning from S. Friendswood Drive onto Winding Way.
According to police, the pedestrian yelled at the driver to slow down and threw crackers at the car as he passed.

The driver of the car stopped and confronted the pedestrian, and the pedestrian dumped the box of crackers into the car through an open passenger window.
Police said the driver of the car threw the crackers back a the pedestrian and began to drive away, at which time the pedestrian grabbed onto the side of the car, and was dragged several feet and fell off into a puddle of water, according to police.

The driver of the car drove to work site in the 500 block of Pine Bluff Drive in the Forest of Friendswood subdivision, and was allegedly followed to the work site by the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was wielding a baseball bat, which he used to smash the driver side window, and reportedly sent shards of glass into the driver’s neck, arms and hands.
The pedestrian continued his assault and allegedly shattered the back window and hit the body of the car.
A witness told police the man walked to a silver luxury SUV and drove off after the incident.
Police have not identified the man, who they said could face felony criminal mischief and felony
aggravated assault charges.
