Goose Creek ISD Investigating Claim Of Sexual Assault of Pre-Kindergarten Student
Child came home with clothing disheveled, said boy touched her in the bathroom at school.

BAYTOWN, TX -- A Baytown man is looking for answers after his 4-year old daughter was allegedly sexually assaulted by a classmate in a bathroom before the Christmas break.
The child was enrolled in the pre-kindergarten program at Lorenzo De Zavala Elementary School in the Goose Creek Independent School District, on Dec. 14 when the incident happened.
Rodney Lorfing said that when he picked his daughter up from school that day, he and his wife noticed something was wrong.

"When we picked her up from school, she walked out to the car, and immediately, we noticed that her pants were on backwards and inside out, and her shoes were on the wrong feet," Lorfing told KPRC.
He notified the teacher via text message, and then spoke with her on the phone to try and find out what happened.

The teacher didn’t seem to know what had happened, so he turned to his daughter while they were still in the car, and she allegedly told her that a boy took off her pants and touched her while they were in the unisex bathroom connected to the classroom.
Lorfing contacted administrators who told him that they were aware that another student was in the bathroom with her, and they were not notifying other parents of the incident.
Lorfing posted a Facebook a five minute video on his Facebook page that spelled out the details of the alleged assault and that has since been viewed more than 400,000 times.
They have also removed both their children from De Zavala Elementary and enrolled them in another school.
Meanwhile, Goose Creek ISD released a statement on the incident:
"Goose Creek CISD can confirm that a classroom incident involving two 4-year-old, pre-kindergarten students is under investigation. Upon learning of the incident, which occurred just prior to the holiday break, the parents of both students were notified by the district, as were CPS and law enforcement. Those investigations are ongoing. Although federal and state law prohibits the district from sharing confidential information about student matters such as this, parents can be assured that swift and appropriate corrective actions have been taken."
The Lorfing’s have retained legal counsel and could file legal action against Goose Creek ISD.
