It has been said that angels can perform miracles during the holiday season and the Special Education Program (SPED) at Pasadena ISD can surely attest to that.

Last Thursday, Be An Angel – a Houston-based organization that supports children with special needs -- stopped by the district’s Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) to unload a 16-wheeler full of gifts so they could be distributed to students in special ed. Throughout the day, SPED employees packaged the gifts and distributed them to students at each elementary school.
The SPED program reunites each year with Be an Angel to spread holiday cheer and donate 450 gifts to Pasadena ISD students.
“It's been an amazing collaboration...It's a real pleasure to go out to the campuses and provide gifts and see the students' faces. We're just lucky that the Be An Angel program includes Pasadena ISD in their gift delivery,” said John Salinas, behavior analyst for Special Education.
Be an Angel is a Houston-based non-profit organization that provides gifts during the holidays to children with special needs and their low-income families. With the help of donors and volunteers, the organization arranges a Christmas program, where they deliver gifts to students, teachers and schools.
