July 4th Pasadena Style!

PASADENA, TX — It’s America’s Birthday weekend, and there will be plenty of places in Pasadena and the surrounding area to celebrate.

The City of Pasadena will host it’s 4th Fest at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds from 4-10 p.m.on Tuesday, July 4. It’s an Independence Day celebration with fun for the whole family! There will be a car & motorcycle show, vendors, music, games, the Toys for Tots BBQ Tailgate Shootout, an indoor Kidzone with moonwalks, bounce houses, games, wax hands, water tattoos and more. And of course, there will be fireworks! The 20-minute fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. and, this year, music for the show will be broadcast on 100.3 The Bull.

The City of Pearland will host the Celebration of Freedom from 6-10 p.m. at the Pearland High School football stadium on the 4th,. There will be a VFW military salute, The Slags will play, and it's all free.

Heading to the coast? The Kemah Boardwalk 4th of July party is always a great place to be, and this year will be no exception. The show begins at 9:30, and you know it will be a big one. Plus, all those restaurants and sights and sounds ... don't miss this one.

Then of course, there’s Galveston. It's the 177th City of Galveston 4th of July Celebration, and this one is special. A parade along the seawall is set, and the fireworks show promises to elicit the oohs and ahhs down by the Gulf. Come early to beat the traffic.
