Krispy Kreme Opens Fourth Houston Area Store In Pasadena

The first customer received a free dozen doughnuts every week for a year, while customers 2 thru 100 received one free dozen every month

PASADENA, TX — The grand opening of a new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on Spencer Highway resulted in the first 100 in line rewarded with free doughnuts for a year.

The doors opened at 6 a.m., Tuesday to a line of that stretched around the building, but those opting to use the drive-thru were excluded from this promotion. The first customer in line won one free dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts every week for a year, while customers two through 100 won one free dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts every month for a year, and the first 100 customers in line also received a grand opening T-shirt, KTRK reported.

According to a press release, the new store is approximately 3460 square feet and features a drive-thru and Krispy Kreme's classic welcoming atmosphere, and will also feature premium coffee and more than a dozen of Krispy Kreme's one-of-a-kind doughnuts, including the signature Original Glazed doughnut.

The new store is the fourth to open in Houston, and the surrounding area since 2015, according to the Houston Chronicle.

A fifth Krispy Kreme location is planned for Pearland.
