La Porte Police Arrest 5 In Drug Bust

Neighbor complaints of narcotics activity led to arrests, confiscation of meth and assorted pills.

LA PORTE, TX -- Complaints from residents to police about suspected narcotics activity oled to the arrest of five people.

La Porte Police officers executed a search warrant on March 23 on a home in the 500 block of Primrose Lane. (Sign up for Patch’s daily newsletter for your neighborhood.)

Inside the home, police found two women and three men, as well as 4 grams of methamphetamine and an assortment of prescription pills, such as hydrocodone and Xanax.

Those who were arrested included:

  • Chad Beargeon, 43, charged with narcotics possession and intent to deliver, is being held on a $20,000 bond.
  • Edward Rossino, 33, charged with narcotics possession and is held on ao$2,000 bond
  • Erin Daugherty, 28, charged with narcotics possession and is held on a $2,000 bond.
  • Josef Kitchen, 21, charged with narcotics possession, and is being held on a $2,000 bond.
  • Brittany Price, 29, charged with narcotics possession and is being held without bond.

The case has been submitted to the Harris County District Attorneys Office, and could result in additional criminal charges.
