La Porte Police Arrest Sexual Assault Suspect
Samuel Duran is accused of sexually assaulting one woman at knifepoint in January, and trying to sexually assault another woman last week.

LA PORTE, TX -- A man accused of attacking two women at knifepoint in a La Porte massage and has been arrested.
Samuel Duran, 38, was arrested on March 8, and charged with aggravated sexual assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators said Duran, who is from Baytown, came into the business in the 9600 block of Spencer Highway at about 8 p.m. on Jan. 23, and sexually assaulted a woman inside the massage parlor.

On March 6, at about 11 a.m., police said Duran returned to the same business and forced a woman at knifepoint into a backroom where he allegedly tried to sexally assault her.

However, a customer who came during the attempted sexual assault frightened Duran, who ran.
His picture was recorded on surveillance video and distributed by law enforcement officials.
He was arrested and taken to jail, where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
