Man Accused Of Capital Murder Extradited From Mexico

Brandon Flores, 23, of Dayton, faces two counts of capital murder for the murders of Alejandro Chavez, and Jarvis Morgan, both of Baytown.

HOUSTON, TX — A man accused of a killing two men in 2015, was extradited from Mexico and met at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Wednesday by federal agents from the U.S. Marshal Service.

Brandon Flores, 23, of Dayton, is facing two counts of capital murder for the murders of Alejandro Chavez, 18, and Jarvis Morgan, 17, both of of Baytown.

Chavez and Morgan were reported missing in February 2015, and shorty after they were reported missing, their bodies were pulled from a bayou in Chambers County.

Investigators said both men had been shot to death and their bodies weighed down before being tossed off a bridge into the bayou, KTRK reported.

Police arrested Jose Chavez and Valentin Lazo after police found Morgan and Chavez’s bodies in the bayou.

Both men are in the Chambers County Jail awaiting trial.

Details of Flores arrest by Mexican authorities have not been released.

If they are convicted, they face a possible sentence of life in prison, or the death penalty.
