Man Jumps To His Death From Fred Hartman Bridge
Residents called 911 to report a man jumping from the Fred Hartman Bridge in La Porte on Monday. His identity has not been released: Reports

LA PORTE, TX — A man was killed Monday after he reportedly jumped to his death from the Fred Hartman Bridge into the Houston Ship Channel.
The incident was reported at about 6:30 p.m. after the La Porte Police received several 911 calls, about the man.
Police found his body several minutes later, and have not yet released his identity.

The Fred Hartman Bridge, which opened in 1995, is 440 feet above the ship channel surface at its highest point, the Houston Chronicle reported.
