McDonalds Offers Free Breakfasts During STAAR Testing

Students in grades 3-8 who are taking the STAAR test, as well as their teachers, are eligible for a free McDonald's breakfast on Tuesday.

HOUSTON, TX — It’s that time of year again when school all over Texas begin administering their mandated State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness testing, and McDonald’s restaurants want to make sure the teachers and the students are ready.

To kick off STAAR testing, McDonald’s restaurants across the Greater Houston area will offer free breakfast to students in grades 3 through 8, and teachers of grades 3 through 8, on Tuesday from 6-9 a.m.

The free breakfast includes:

  • Choice of: Egg White Delight McMuffin or Fruit and Maple Oatmeal
  • Choice of: 1 percent Low Fat Milk or Apple Juice
  • Apple Slices

Teachers will have to show a valid school ID to receive the deal.

Dine-in only.

Student must be present and accompanied by a parent or legal aged guardian.
