The annual Clear the Shelters event is happening nationwide this weekend, with dozens of Houston animal shelters participating

PASADENA, TX — If you're looking for a new pet to add to your family, then don't spend a lot of money at a breeder.
Consider instead finding your new friend at any one of the participating animal shelters in Pasadena and the surrounding area.
Animal shelters throughout the area are participating in the annual Clear the Shelters event on Saturday to find forever homes for dogs and cats nationwide.

In the Houston area alone, the number of stray cats and dogs is impossible to count with many of those animals lost or abandoned in rural areas of Harris County.
As a result, animal shelters in the Houston area will host pet adoption events in the Houston area.
