Pasadena Election Volunteer Files Complaint With Texas Secretary Of State
Complaint alleges election materials were left inside a polling location during the May 6 city council election.

PASADENA, TX — A campaign volunteer who worked at one of the polling locations during the recent Pasadena city council elections has filed a complaint with the Texas Secretary of State’s Office, claiming there were campaign materials for at least two candidates inside the polling location during the May 6 election.
According to a Houston Chronicle report, Gary Denton said there were materials inside the Sunset United Methodist Church for mayoral candidate Jeff Wagner and incumbent city councilman Bruce Leamon.
The materials could be considered a form of electioneering, which is illegal in Texas. (Want to get daily updates about traffic news and other events going on in your area? Sign up for the free Houston Patch morning newsletter.)
