POLLING LOCATIONS and HOURS OF OPERATION

All election day polling locations are open to all eligible voters in Harris County. Please note that polling locations are subject change. Go to www.harrisvotes.com or select Early Voting and Polling Locations for a comprehensive list of all countywide polling locations within Harris County. Select Convenient Polling Locations for a list of locations within or near PISD boundaries.

April 19 - April 24 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

April 26 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
April 27 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

ELECTION DAY

May 1 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

In Pasadena ISD, all members of the Board of Trustees are elected “at-large” by position. This means that candidates are voted on and elected separately for each open position. Accordingly, a registered voter living within the Pasadena ISD boundaries may cast a vote for each position on the ballot regardless of where they live within the District.

Board Member responsibilities are outlined in state law and District Policy and may be accessed here at PISD Board Policy Manual Section B: Local Governance. Powers and duties of the Board are specifically listed in PISD Policy BAA (Legal). Additional information can be found at the Texas Association of School Boards.
Pasadena ISD may not create or distribute political advertising and is not authorized to use public funds directly or indirectly (including the use of employee paid work time) to advocate for or against any candidate on the ballot.

Voters are highly encouraged to perform independent research on all candidates. Each candidate conducts their own campaign and may use a variety of sources, including but not limited to personal contact, social media, local news outlets, and candidate forums to disseminate information to voters. Public contact information for the candidates may be obtained by submitting a public information request to the District using the Public Information Request form on the District's website.

Minimize Alerts New Pasadena Remote Learning Academy

Pasadena ISD plans to offer, pending funding by the Texas Legislature, a limited enrollment, at-home learning option for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2021-2022 school year.

Enrollment in the Pasadena Remote Learning Academy is available to qualifying Pasadena ISD students, Out-of-District and Homeschooled students. Admission is based on an evaluation of previous school attendance, discipline and grades, as well as any current medical condition which would prevent face-to-face attendance.

Applications will be accepted May 3 - May 14, 2021. The application will be available online through our District website and shared via social media starting May 3rd.

Any student wishing to apply with a medical waiver must have a 2021-2022 medical waiver completed and signed by a physician by May 14, 2021. The medical waiver form is provided below.

Further details regarding course offerings and other enrollment considerations will be available with the application on May 3.
