Pasadena ISD Foundation’s Dec. 8 “Back 4 The Future” Virtual Telethon Announces Event Headliners

The line-up includes:
-Nate Griffin, sports anchor for the Greater Houston area on Fox 26

-Cynthia Cisneros, a South Houston High School alumnus from ABC 13 who retired recently after working as a TV reporter for over 30 years.
-Jennifer Almaguer, a model, producer, and actress known for her work on Prison Break (2005), Somebody's Darling (2016) and Halloween Night (2020).
-Blake Douglas,a former radio on-air personality and proud Pasadena resident.
-Local YouTube stars, Eduardo Verastegui a recent Pasadena ISD graduate and a rising Youtube Star who has garnered nearly half a million subscribers.
- Princess Thi, a PISD alumnus who is also a famous Youtuber, loved and watched by millions of young children.
-TV personality Jennifer Reyna, an Instagram and Twitter star with tens of thousands of followers. Most know her as the former morning traffic anchor on KPRC Channel 2.
The event will also feature live performances by show choirs, drumlines, dance teams, orchestras and many more, representing each high school. The broadcast begins at 12 p.m. and will last until 8 p.m.
If that’s not enough to make you want to tune into this live event, the Back 4 the Future telethon
will feature a live band full of district employees and a list of guests known throughout the district including:
-Jeremy Richardson, principal of Pasadena Memorial High School;
-Jae Lee, principal of Burnett Elementary;
-Roneka Lee, principal of Bondy Intermediate;
-Maya Arrendondo, Pasadena Memorial recent graduate;
-Jorly Thomas, principal of Fred Roberts Middle School;
-Franklin Moses, principal of Dobie High School;
-Lisa Haws, principal of Morales Elementary;
-Steve Fleming, principal of CTHS;
-and Amy McClellen, principal of Young Elementary.
COVID-19 has greatly impacted our communities and Pasadena ISD is no exception. Program organizers are hoping to raise $250,000 to provide funding for grants and scholarships for the district’s teachers and students. Throughout the event, the district will be celebrating the classic film “Back to the Future” while rolling through the decades to celebrate Pasadena ISD’s history.
