The graduating seniors and their families were greeted on their front lawns with cheers by Superintendent of Schools Dr. DeeAnn Powell, members of the Board of Trustees, along with campus and district administrators.
Administrators decided to take action to honor these students since they will be enlisting prior to the July graduations; therefore, the principals hand-delivered diplomas to the student’s homes.

“We wanted to make sure our military enlistees had the opportunity to be presented with their diplomas, even if they weren’t able to attend graduation,” said Superintendent Powell. “We are incredibly proud that these students have decided to serve their country and wish them the very best. We pray for their safety and appreciate their service.”
