Pasadena Man Kills Wife, Shoots Sister-In-Law Before Shooting Himself In Restaurant

Police said man came through back of restaurant while women were taking a break, ordered everyone to leave before shooting started.

PASADENA, TX -- A Pasadena man shot his estranged wife to death and and his sister-in-law in a restaurant Thursday evening, before turning the gun on himself.

The shooting happened at about 7:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of Red Bluff Road, at the Tierra Caliente restaurant.

According to police, the husband, whose identity has not yet been released, came through the back door of the restaurant, and demanded everyone leave, except his wife and her sister.

The two women, who were working at the restaurant, were on a break when the man came into the restaurant, police said.

Police said the man fired several shots, hitting his wife several times, and killing her, and shot her sister in the arm.

The man then shot himself.

He was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital, and later died.

The shooting is under investigation.
