Pasadena Police Tipped Off to Human Smuggling Ring
Tip Leads to Discovery of 39 Illegals Held Captive in Pasadena Apartment, leads to arrest of three suspects.

PASADENA, TX -- A tip to the Pasadena Police Department led to the discovery of nearly 40 people who were allegedly being held captive, and stashed in as many as six different apartments.
Investigators with the Department of Homeland Security were called to the apartment complex in the 3000 block of Strawberry St., at about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement took the victims into custody for interviews and processing

Officials said the victims, which include 35 men (at least two were juveniles) and four women, were smuggled into the United States from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.
Police said they arrested three suspects in connection to this case.
