Residents can expect calm winds on this hot weekend, with a quarter to a half inch of rain possible on Saturday.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 101. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
