Pearland Man Arrested, Accused Of Being A Serial Motorcycle Thief: Police

Man allegedly search online ads for motorcycles, used fake set of car keys to gain trust and take bikes on test drive.

PEARLAND, TX -- Police have arrested a Pearland man they believe is a serial motorcycle thief.

Chaisson Porche, 23, is accused of stealing several motorcycles by telling owners who were selling the motorcycles he was going on a test drive, and then not coming back.

After an investigation, police learned that Porche was scouring online ads for motorcycles to find his target.

Investigators said at times, Porche would trade a fake set of car keys in good faith for a test drive, and then disappear with the motorcycle.

Police said three thefts so far have been confirmed, but there could be more.

Porche is facing charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
