Police ID Shooting Victim Found In Bayou

GALENA PARK, TX — The body of a man dead in the backseat of a car Tuesday night has been positively identified.

Police discovered the body of Luis Flores, around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 Duna Way.

He’d been shot to death.

According to a KPRC report, A group of kids playing near Hunting Bayou about 9 p.m., noticed a partially submerged car surrounded by brush.

When police arrived, the found Flores’ body with gunshot wounds to the head and chest.

The case is under investigation.
