Police Investigate Four-Car Accident That Injured 6 People
Police arrest woman who caused accident on suspicion of DWI.

BAYTOWN, TX -- A woman suspected of driving while intoxicated caused a four car pile up on Garth Road just before midnight on Friday.
Police were called out to the accident about 11:45 p.m.
According to investigators, the alleged drunk driver ran into the the back of a car and caused a chain reaction of other accidents that injured six people.

Investigators said three women had to be extricated from their vehicle, and one of those was seriously injured and was transported by Life Flight to an area hospital.
Three others were also injured were taken by EMS to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver who caused the accident was not injured and was arrested for suspected DWI.
The crash remains under investigation.
