Police Search for Missing League City Woman

Mother of two boys called in sick on Dec. 7, and has not been heard from since.

LEAGUE CITY, TX -- The family of a missing 32-year old woman are hoping for a Christmas miracle and praying that she is found safe.

Anne-Christine Johnson was last heard from on Dec. 7, when she called in sick to her job at Legends Sports Bar in League City.

She was expected at a dinner with her father the next day, but didn’t show up, but apparently communicated by text message.

"My life is falling apart, and I don't know how I'm going to hold it together," Stephanie Johnson, Anne’s mother told KPRC.

Anne-Christine Johnson, who goes by Anne, is the mother of two sons, ages 5 and 8-years old, the youngest of which has autism.

She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds, has brown hair, green eyes and could be in the company of a man driving a white sedan.

Her mother created a Facebook page the day she went missing, hoping to spread the word about her daughter’s disappearance and gather tips.

Meanwhile, officials with Texas EquuSeach are expected to join in the search for Johnson this morning.

"We have all the hopes of getting Anne back safely, but if the worst has happened, we feel it's important to get out there and do what we can do to get her located," Tim Miller with Texas EquuSearch said.
