Saddle Up: The 68th Annual Pasadena Livestock Show And Rodeo Is Underway
The Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo attracts some of the best rodeo talent in the U.S. each year.

PASADENA, TX — It’s that time of year to saddle up for the 68th Annual Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo, with as many as eight world champion cowboys competing for prizes this week.
The event started Sept. 22, and continues through Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. each night, at the Pasadena Rodeo Arena, located at 7601 Red Bluff Road.
The rodeo is considered Pasadena’s best kept secret, according to the Houston Chronicle, and typically draws some of the top rodeo talent from all over the United States.

Top competitors include Weatherford's three-time world champion steer roper Tuf Cooper, and Decatur's Trevor Brazile, who holds 23 world championship rodeo titles.
Other competitors include World Champion Bull Rider Sage Kimsey of Strong City, Oklahoma, who faces a stiff challenge from Joe Frost from Randlett, Utah, Tim Bingham of Honeyville, Utah and Roscoe Jarboe of New Plymouth, Idaho.

The top ranked steer wrestling cowboys will also be competing, including current world champion Tyler Waguespack of Gonzales, Louisiana, Ty Erickson from Helena, Montana, Tyler Pearson of Louisville, Missouri, and Olin Hannum of Malad, Indiana.
Aside from the entertainment of bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding and steer roping, there are family fun events taking place at the Kid Zone including:

Time: 5:30PM - 7:30PM Monday thru Saturday
• Nightly from 5:30PM to 7:30PM on nights we have rodeo performances.
• We will have an inflatable slide, arts & crafts and various games for the kids to play for prizes. Baby chickens too!
• Petting zoo will also be available to all for free. Food for small animals will be available for a small fee.
• Cotton candy for all who enter!
• Kid Zone is free!!! Located under the big white tent on the north side of the grounds just past the ag barn.
Tickets are $20 at the gate each night, they can be purchased online.
