• Samsung relocates US HQ from New Jersey to Texas (fierce-network.com) — Samsung Electronics America is officially shifting its U.S. headquarters to its existing Plano campus, reinforcing the city's role as a major tech and telecom hub even as about 100 local employees were recently laid off. With AT&T also building a massive new Plano headquarters expected to house 10,000 workers, residents can expect the city's corporate footprint and employment base to keep growing.
   

• 5 Arrested in Lewisville Murder; 4 Suspects Taken Into Custody in Colorado (irvingweekly.com) — Lewisville police have arrested five suspects, including one captured in Plano, in connection with a targeted fatal shooting outside a Lewisville apartment on Sept. 11. Four suspects were picked up in Colorado, while Plano officers helped apprehend the remaining adult suspect locally as agencies across states coordinated to move the case forward.
