Today's riddle: What is clean when it is black and dirty when it is white? 🤔 (Answer below!)
1. DART expands Plano GoLink services and State Fair transit (communityimpact.com) — DART has expanded its GoLink on-demand transit in Plano, adding a new southwest zone and loosening zone-to-zone restrictions to improve access to Collin College, Jack Hatchell Transit Center, and key rail connections. Plano riders also benefit from special State Fair shuttles and extra buses for the Texas–OU game, making it easier to reach major regional events without driving or parking hassles.
2. Thread by @DannyCampsalot on Thread Reader App (threadreaderapp.com) — A social media thread digs into Plano-based Network Objects, Inc., which had about $1.57 million in PPP loans forgiven while reportedly claiming zero jobs saved. The author highlights the company's condo-style offices, H-1B visa use, and ties to Indian conglomerate XTGlobal, raising questions about how local tech firms used pandemic relief funds and who ultimately benefited.
3. Senior Automation Testing Engineer - Playwright & Selenium (cognizant.com) — A major tech employer is hiring a senior automation testing engineer for a hybrid role that requires two days a week in its Plano office, offering a salary range of $53,000 to $92,500. Local candidates with Playwright, Selenium, Java, and API automation experience, plus some mobile and AI testing interest, are encouraged to apply before October 18, 2026.
4. Texas clinics, owner pay $20M to resolve False Claims Act COVID-19 allegations (washingtontimes.com) — Two clinics in Plano and their owner have agreed to pay $20 million to resolve federal allegations they improperly billed a COVID-19 relief program for higher-level services that were never performed. Prosecutors say the Heal 360 clinics used template-generated records and inflated billing codes for simple test collection at drive-through sites, with whistleblowers set to receive a share of the settlement and no liability formally determined.
