St. Andrew Methodist Church

The 9th Annual St. Andrew Cars for Community Car Show, themed “Cars and Coffee,” returns on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway in Plano. Hosted by the St. Andrew Methodist Men, the event offers free admission and
free entry for all cars and motorcycles. All proceeds from donations and sponsorships will benefit <a href="https://www.thestorehousecc.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Storehouse Community Center</a>, a nonprofit serving neighbors in Collin, Dallas, and Denton counties with food, clothing, resources, and job training. Participants are invited to showcase their vehicles and enjoy a morning of community, connection, and giving back.
Event highlights include a raffle and silent auction with winners announced at 11 a.m. Title sponsors for this year’s event are Blair Automotive and Dent Mechanic Group. Coffee, breakfast, and lunch items will be available for purchase on-site.
“We’re thrilled to roll out a new format this year—no entry fees, just a great opportunity to come together and support a cause that truly matters,” said event organizer Ron Weaver. “By focusing on donations and sponsorships, it is our hope that even more funds will be raised to benefit The Storehouse and its mission to serve our neighbors with dignity and compassion. It’s going to be an incredible morning for car lovers and the community alike.”

The Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall

Legacy Hall’s Tacos &amp; Takedowns Festival&nbsp;is returning to Plano on Saturday, April 18. The all-day event combines tacos, tequila, live music, and Lucha Libre wrestling for one of the hall’s most high-energy festivals of the year.
From&nbsp;1 to 10 p.m., guests can explore tacos from more than a dozen food vendors with options starting at $3, tequila tastings, and craft cocktails from five bars throughout the hall. The festival also features live music throughout the day and a headlining set from AC/DC tribute band Back in Black.
