As teachers prepare classrooms, lesson plans, and campuses for the start of a new school year, <a href="https://dillas.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Dillas Quesadillas</a>&nbsp;is saying thank you in a big way.&nbsp;

The Texas-born restaurant brand will give away more than $100,000 in free quesadilla meals to teachers as part of its Back-to-School on Dillas campaign, recognizing the educators who dedicate countless hours preparing students for success each year.

Teachers can sign up to receive a free meal by visiting <a href="https://dillas.com/teacher-2026" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://dillas.com/teacher-2026</a>&nbsp;and completing the online form. The free meal will be delivered through the Dillas Diehards loyalty program, and an active Diehards account is required to redeem.

The giveaway will be available at all 11 Dillas locations, with up to 1,000 free meals available per restaurant. The campaign marks one of the largest community appreciation initiatives the company has undertaken to date, directly impacting educators across North Texas and Louisiana, including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Denton, Nacogdoches and Forney, Texas, as well as Shreveport, Bossier City, and Ruston, Louisiana.

“Teachers are some of the hardest-working people in our communities,” said Kyle Gordon, co-founder of Dillas Quesadillas. “Well before students walk through the doors on the first day of school, teachers are investing their time preparing classrooms, planning lessons, and creating environments where students can thrive. We wanted to find a meaningful way to show our appreciation and help them start the school year feeling celebrated.”

Free meals will be distributed through the Dillas Diehards program on Monday, August 3, and will be redeemable through Thursday, August 6. Meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

The initiative reflects Dillas’ longstanding commitment to community involvement and local schools. Since opening its first location in Plano, the brand has partnered with schools, youth organizations, and community groups throughout the neighborhoods it serves.&nbsp;

“Schools are at the heart of every community,” Gordon said. “Supporting educators is one small way we can say thank you for everything they do for students, families, and the communities we serve.”

Teachers are encouraged to register early. A maximum of 1,000 meals will be available per Dillas location. Limit one free quesadilla meal per Diehards member. Maximum discount is $10.49. Modifications and extras are additional. No cash value.

St. Andrew Methodist Church is kicking off the fall season with two of its most anticipated annual traditions – Back-to-School Blessings on Sunday, August 9, followed by the School Spirit &amp; Tailgate Celebration on Sunday, August 16. Together, these events mark the beginning of a new ministry season, inviting families and the community to celebrate a fresh start through worship, fellowship, and fun while discovering opportunities to connect through classes, groups, recreation, service opportunities, and ministries for every stage of life.
"Fall is a season of new beginnings," said Rev. Arthur Jones, senior pastor of St. Andrew Methodist Church. "Whether you're sending a child to school, beginning a new chapter, or simply looking for a place to belong, we invite everyone to celebrate with us and discover a community where faith can grow and friendships can flourish."
The Fall Kickoff begins with Back-to-School Blessings
on Sunday, August 9, when students, teachers, administrators, and school staff will be celebrated and blessed during all worship services as they prepare for the new school year.Families are also invited to capture the occasion with back-to-school photos beside an actual school bus.
The celebration continues the following Sunday with St. Andrew's annual School Spirit &amp; Tailgate Celebration, transforming the campus into a lively festival of school pride and family fun. Guests are encouraged to wear apparel representing their favorite school while enjoying bounce houses, classic lawn games, live entertainment featuring the UNT Drumline and a professional DJ, fishing at the campus pond, and a Spirit Station, where guests can show their school pride with glitter face paint, temporary tattoos, and fun spirit-themed activities. Classic tailgate favorites, including burgers, hot dogs, and sweet treats, will be available for purchase.
In addition to these special events, the Fall Kickoff Season offers an opportunity for newcomers and longtime members alike to explore Bible studies, small groups, children's and student ministries, music programs, camps, outings, recreation, volunteer opportunities, and other activities designed to help individuals and families connect, grow, and serve together throughout the year.

Back-to-School Blessings 
Sunday, August 9 | 9:30 &amp; 11:00 a.m. 
Special blessings will be offered during all worship services for students of every age, educators, administrators, and school staff. Families are invited to take photos with a real school bus following services.
School Spirit &amp; Tailgate Celebration 
Sunday, August 16 | 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. 
Following worship, the community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of family fun featuring bounce houses, lawn games, the UNT Drumline, a professional DJ, fishing, a Spirit Station, and classic tailgate food favorites.
