City Of Plano Names 'BEST Neighborhoods'

Representatives from the City of Plano Monday recognized Plano neighborhoods known for their beauty, safety, and drive to thrive.

PLANO, TX — The City of Plano announced Monday in a city council meeting that 10 neighborhoods in the city were designated "BEST Neighborhoods." The program recognizes neighborhoods that have gone above and beyond to create a community that is beautiful, safe, engaged and thriving.

Through this program, the City of Plano acknowledges and honors those residents working collaboratively to create the strong neighborhoods that make Plano a desirable place to live, work and play.

The neighborhoods are recognized as either Platinum, Gold or Silver, and each Platinum neighborhood receives a special promotion from the City of Plano as well as neighborhood entryway signs to showcase its accomplishment.

2017's Platinum neighborhoods are Estates of Forest Creek, Forest Creek Estates and Glenhollow Estates.

Gold neighborhoods are Glenhollow Estates North, Harrington Homeplace and Park Bridge, and Silver neighborhoods are Avignon Windhaven, Forest Creek North III & IV and Shoal Creek.
