Northbound Central Expressway Opens After Fatal Crash Tuesday

PLANO, TX — Updated: This accident has been cleared, and Central Expressway is open.

Original: Northbound Central Expressway is closed at Parker Road in Plano after a crash involving multiple vehicles killed one person.

WFAA reports the crash involved a motorcycle, two pickup trucks, two sedans, a SUV and a Jeep. The crash left one dead, three injured, and countless others stuck sitting in traffic.

The crash happened around 2:10 p.m., but WFAA reports I-75 could be closed until after 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. At this time drivers must exit the highway at Parker Road.

The crash was spread across all four lanes of I-75, as well as the HOV lane.
