Plano 2020 Fire Prevention Poster Contest City-Level Awards

Congratulations to the Plano ISD students who are City of Plano 2020 Fire Prevention Poster contest winners.

October 28, 2020

Congratulations to the Plano ISD students who are City of Plano 2020 Fire Prevention Poster contest winners. This contest, sponsored by Plano Fire and Rescue, took place virtually due to the pandemic, and the City of Plano regrets it is unable to host the awards ceremony as in years past. Plano ISD students in grades PreK-12 were eligible to enter. The contest is held annually in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week. This year's theme, provided by the National Fire Protection Association, is “Serve up Fire Safety in the Kitchen.” City-level winners are chosen by Plano firefighters.
