Plano IDS Bus In Multi Car Collision; Student Uninjured

According to Plano ISD, one student was on the bus when it crashed at Central Expressway and Spring Creek Parkway. He or she was uninjured.

PLANO, TX — A Plano ISD school bus was involved in a multiple car collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of Interstate 75, or North Central Expressway, and Spring Creek Parkway. According to Plano ISD, one student was on the bus at the time of the collision. He or she was uninjured.

The crash was caused by a car chase with a possible DWI suspect, CBSDFW reported. According to the report, the chase led from Murphy to Allen and into Plano. The suspect allegedly crashed into a pole before the truck involved caught fire.

Neither the student on the bus nor the two Plano ISD employees on the bus were injured, WFAA reported. The driver accused of fleeing from police was arrested.
