Patrons may return items to the library and pickup holds. Items previously checked out have due dates for the week of June 1. The Library will remain closed to the public to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

Check your account for details regarding when items are due.

Book drops are open and returned items are quarantined for 72 hours. Items will still show on your account during the quarantine and holds fulfillment will also be delayed. Having the item(s) remain on your account will not impact your ability to check out additional items.

Holds Pickup and Specialty Items return is available on the front porch. Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m.– 5:30 p.m. More details

When returning Specialty Items (STEAM Kits, Backpacks, Interlibrary Loans), call the library’s main number when you arrive and notify staff that you are returning an item to the front porch. More details

You will be able to place items on hold online through the library catalog. Holds may take longer than normal due to reduced staffing in the libraries. FAQs

Currently, access to digital resources is provided even if your account has overdue items. You can access our digital services including eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, newspapers, streaming video and online resources from home. For assistance using any of these services, please call your library Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. You may also email us your library question.

To help contain the spread of the Coronavirus or COVID-19 within our community, all Plano Public Library facilities are currently closed. Check the calendar for virtual programs.

Currently, material donations are not being accepted. Please hold items until the Library reopens. You may support the library with a financial donation here.
