Second Annual Dallas Lemonade Dash Kicks Off Summer Series June 21

Lonestar Running Company is launching its Summer Dash Series with the second annual Dallas Lemonade Dash on Sunday, June 21, at Bachman Lake Park in Dallas. The family-friendly event features a 5K, 10K, and 1K Family Fun Run and welcomes runners, walkers, beginners and parents with strollers for a morning of philanthropy.

Giving Back, One Mile at a Time: Proceeds from the event benefit three nonprofit organizations making a meaningful difference in their communities: Ainsley’s Angels Southeast Texas, which promotes inclusion in endurance events for individuals with disabilities; The Asher House Animal Sanctuary, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming animals in need; and LifeGift Organ Donation, which supports the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.

“Last year's Lemonade Dash showed us that Dallas participants are looking for summer events that are welcoming and community-focused,” said co-founder Randi Schooley. “The Summer Dash Series brings people together to stay active, make memories and support organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of others.”

Get Ready for a Sweet Race Day Experience: Join the fun on Sunday, June 21, at Bachman Lake Park (3500 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas), with free parking available onsite. Participants can expect a race day that's anything but sour, featuring lemonade stations, summer surprises, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate at the finish line.

The 5K and 10K races begin at 7 a.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 8:15 a.m. The 1K Family Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m.

Awards will be presented to:

• Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers
• Top 3 Masters (40+) Male and Female Finishers
• First-Place Age Group Winners in 10-year age divisions

Age group awards must be claimed at the Awards Tent between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on race day.

Squeeze the Most Out of Summer:The Dallas Lemonade Dash is the first event in Lonestar Running Company's Summer Dash Series. The series continues with the Popsicle Dash on July 26 and the Watermelon Dash on August 23.

Participants who register for all three events receive 10% off registration, making it even sweeter to join the full series.
