• BioMedical Waste Solutions employee arrested in $1.7 million theft case (star-telegram.com) — A 51-year-old Port Neches woman is jailed on a $750,000 bond, accused of stealing nearly $1.75 million from BioMedical Waste Solutions over several years. Investigators say she used company funds to pay personal credit cards through more than 150 online payments and transfers, uncovered after the Port Arthur-based owner noticed suspicious charges and reviewed past bank statements.
