Rockwall Memory Care Worker Arrested: 24-Year-Old Charged With 4 Counts Of Sexual Assault On Dementia Patient (klif.com) — Rockwall residents should know that a local memory care worker has been arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault involving a 67-year-old dementia patient at two Rockwall-area care facilities. Police say the investigation began after the woman's family raised concerns, and the case remains open as authorities review what happened inside these local centers.
4. Worker Injured In 25-Foot Fall At Rockwall Buffalo Creek Treatment Plant (dallasexpress.com) — A contractor was seriously hurt after falling about 25 feet into an empty underground tank at the Buffalo Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant on Horizon Road in Rockwall. Local firefighters, assisted by Dallas Fire-Rescue's Urban Search and Rescue team, performed a complex rope rescue before the man was flown to a hospital; officials say his injuries are not life-threatening and there's no danger to the public.
5. Classical Music Month: Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony builds musicians, confidence and community through music (blueribbonnews.com) — Rockwall County is celebrating Classical Music Month by spotlighting the Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony, which has already involved more than 300 young musicians since 2022. The program builds skills that reach beyond the concert hall—like confidence, discipline, and teamwork—while giving local students a place to grow musically outside the regular Rockwall ISD school day.
