100-Plus Lost Votes To Be Counted: Williamson County
Elections Administrator Christopher Davis said 114 votes lost to voting machine malfunction during early voting have been recovered.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — County elections officials said more than 100 votes lost during the Nov. 6 elections due to a machine malfunction will be counted as part of the results.
In a press advisory, Elections Administrator Christopher Davis said the hope is to have those votes counted by next week.
“The votes on the malfunctioning iVotronic machine have been recovered," Davis wrote in a Nov 14 advisory. "A petition will be filed to seek an order allowing the 114 votes on the malfunctioning iVotronic machine to be counted as part of the election night results. It is our hope to obtain the order this week so that they can be applied before the vote is canvassed on November 20, 2018.”
