In another incident Chody said also occurred Wednesday morning, $170,000 in cash was seized during a traffic stop in Georgetown along Interstate 35. The sheriff also used Twitter (rather than a customary press advisory) to convey news of that bust. But again, the case was short on details: No suspects were identified, the number of people not disclosed or details as to what led police to stop the vehicle. It was only the hashtag #MoneyLaundering that hints that nature of the alleged crime.
