• Round Rock deadly crash: Man charged with intoxication manslaughter (fox7austin.com) — A deadly two-car collision at South Kenney Fort Boulevard and Gattis School Road in Round Rock on Oct. 4 left 24-year-old Shruti Amin dead at the scene. Police say the other driver, 28-year-old Christopher Lundquist, ran a red light and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after being treated at a local hospital and booked into Williamson County Jail.
   

• Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum Are Ready to Get 'Naughty' Again in Texas This December (country1025.com) — Round Rock music fans can catch Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum's revived "Naughty or Nice Tour" when it hits Round Rock Amp on December 5. The Texas country stars are reuniting for a five-date holiday run across the state, with presales starting October 7 and general ticket sales opening October 9 at 10 a.m. CT.
   

• Cedar Park police chief announces retirement (kxan.com) — Round Rock ISD will soon welcome Cedar Park Police Chief Mike Harmon as its new Chief of Police, starting Nov. 9, bringing more than two decades of law enforcement experience to local schools. Harmon says he's eager to focus on protecting students and supporting educators, while Cedar Park leaders begin planning for new police department leadership.
