- For the second year in a row, the Round Rock Express will pay homage to the Austin Black Senators, the Minor Negro League baseball team based in Austin from the 1920s through the 1940s. Round Rock players and coaches will don Black Senators' uniforms and caps on Saturday, April 23, to honor one of Central Texas' first professional sports teams. (KVUE.com)
- In January, 16 commercial projects were filed in Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Hutto through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The commercial projects in Round Rock include a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, a gas station, and a Home 2 Suites. (Community Impact Newspaper)
- Yesterday, Texas health officials reported to the federal government approximately 78 percent of inpatient beds and 91 percent of intensive care unit beds in hospitals across the state were occupied. If there is any change to the regular school day, the district will send families and staff email, text messages, an app push notification, post to social media, and notify the local media.
